The life of a working, touring band at SXSW. Not like the people playing the amphitheater to a crowd of thousands; not the folk trio playing the back porch bar at 2pm. Experience SXSW with a band in the middle, kinda known and kinda not, a band in transition. That band is X Ambassadors.

For the past three years, Brooklyn's X Ambassadors have been making some seriously soulful, moody, smart indie-rock and they've gotten very good at it. Strange enough to stick out and appealing enough to stick, these dudes deserve every note of acclaim they get and we're excited to see where they go from here, wherever it is. A new label, a new EP and new songs are usually a good start.

This is a day with X Ambassadors during their first official SXSW appearance, Austin TX, March 2013.
