As good an introduction as any for this alternative rock quintet. The boys of From Indian Lakes (not meant condescendingly, but they are young) are all about tightening post-rock’s loose screws into fully-formed guitar drenched epics. Their debut is a guided tour through shadowy themes and trying, emotional catharsis, none more shadowy or cathartic than the title track “The Man With Wooden Legs.” See it all in fine display in From Indian Lakes’ live performance for AltarTV.
Another hit of the synth-pop crack that is Lights Poxleitner.
