Breezy upbeat electro-pop from Capital Cities at Bunbury Music Festival. Fronted by two former jingle writers (who still compose professionally under the moniker Lazy Hooks), Capital Cities is well acquainted with the ins and outs of writing a great hook (despite said moniker). To date, their catalogue is heavy on EPs and light on full-lengths, but the material is there for the taking. Here at Bunbury, we’re hearing one of those unreleased, a track called “Chartreuse.” Hopefully this thing is LP-bound for next year, but in the meantime Live At The Fest will have to do.
