Say what you want about Twenty One Pilots, those dudes know how to open a show. They’re a young duo out of Columbus, OH and maybe the first band to truly earn the term ‘schizoid pop.’ Synthy, hip-hoppy, emo-ish pop punk zydeco also works. Whatever the sound is, it thrives on live performance. We caught up with Tyler and Josh along their tour with Neon Trees and talked about the ups and downs of opening band life.
