States, the collective of former Lydia and Copeland members, have stormed back onto the scene with a big, bold new sound. It’s a clever take on oversized pop hooks, but don't worry, they haven’t lost their ears for understatement. At SXSW, we caught up with States for an acoustic take on their otherwise not-so-acoustic “Time Bomb,” one of their first songs written as a newly formed group.
